More Information on Car Storage for the D.C. Area

Our Typical Long Term Indoor Car Storage Customer
Most of our customers go away for extended periods of time (typically over 12 months). We tend to have a lot of military personnel, state department, government contractors, World Bank employees, and car enthusiasts. During this time, with appropriate notice, if a customer returns home for a visit they may pick up their vehicle at a time that is most convenient for them. We do not charge any additional fees for picking up the vehicle.

Additional Services
After a certain period of extended time, 2 or more years, we add  fresh fuel to your vehicle as well as additional fuel stabilizer. We will also add air to your tires as appropriate. After several years of storage batteries may die regardless of being on a trickle charger due to naturally exceeding the intended life; if this were to occur we immediately contact the owner and help install a new battery if asked.

Dropping Off of  Your Vehicle
The majority of our customers come from the greater Washington D.C. area (Fairfax, Leesburg, Ashburn, Manassas, Rockville, Bethesda, Mclean, Arlington). Most people will drop off their vehicles and have a ride arranged for them (we can also provide a ride to Dulles International Airport). Sometimes customers will have professional car transport services drop their vehicle off. Either one of these is fine. We can also personally come out and pick up your vehicle when necessary.

Finding Long Term Car Storage in Virginia
Most internet search results for car storage will be overwhelmed with self storage facilities offering extra bin space for your car. On top of being much more expensive, the storage facility will not run and maintain your vehicle. In addition we also pro rate your stay should you leave or arrive after the first few days of each month.

New Facilities Coming Soon

We are happy to announce that we are currently building a new long term self storage facility in Leesburg, VA.
